When a Philadelphia engine company was dispatched to a children's birthday party, the CO gas meter attached to their first-in bag found several of the guests suffering from CO poisoning.
They were taken into the care of the person whose research actually helped to put the meter policy in place, FireRehab columnist David Jaslow, who is a director at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia.

He discusses the incident and the importance of the equipment in 'CO meters prove worth at Philadelphia children's party.'
