Fla. Hilton Hotel guests test positive for CO poisoning

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. — A Hilton Hotel on South Beach has been temporarily closed after several guests tested positive for carbon monoxide poisoning.

A red sign is posted on the front door of the Hilton Grand Vacations Club on 14th Street and Ocean Drive, warning that the building is unsafe.

It started Sunday night.

"We had a call here earlier where two people were not feeling well," said Ed Del Favaro of Miami Beach Fire Rescue. "We transported them to Mount Sinai Hospital. We had no indication there was a gas problem."
