Second N.Y. carbon monoxide victim dies


Lan Thi Thah Son, 55, died Tuesday in Bronx hospital

A Vietnamese immigrant sickened by carbon monoxide from a faulty furnace that killed her husband in their Pattison Way home last Friday has died in a Bronx hospital.
 
Lan Thi Thach Son, 55, died Tuesday in Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx. Her obituary is in this morning's Times Union.

Her husband Hoan Ngoc Son, 61, was found dead in his bed beside his wife about 11:30 a.m. Friday and police determined a faulty furnace filled their 5 Pattison Way home with the deadly gas.
