Keep dry clothes on hand for all weather conditions

By Perry Denehy, FireRehab.com Columnist

A supply of dry socks, T-shirts, gloves and hoods will ensure your firefighters are prepared for a variety of conditions. In hot or cold climates, it is imperative to have dry clothes. If the department isn't able to supply T-shirts, gloves and hoods in bulk, each individual should keep them in a small gear bag. Throw in a power bar or can of juice for your own munchies.
